Having worked as an interior designer for many years, I also loved pottery and the thoughts of being able to create my own pieces. This dream came to life in 2019 when I was able to spend more time working on ceramics.

I had previously received training every weekend at a pottery in Aughrim Co Wicklow but I could not attend anymore due to travel restrictions at the time so I was left on my own to figure out and perfect the art of working with clay.

My work is primarily produced through plaster moulds for Ceramics and slip cast production and I use an electric kiln to fire my work. I’m not sure how the faces came about on my vases but once I sketched a face onto my first one and saw this quirky personality appear, I was hooked!  I absolutely love making them and they are a constant source of amusement and joy!
